Announcement on COVID-19

Our practice supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) patient care guidance issued on March 17 and the efforts of Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton in their fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.

Please be assured that we are taking every possible action to ensure the safest environment possible including increased disinfection procedures, staff training regarding public health and safety, temperature monitoring for patients and staff, and quickly implementing recommendations provided by state and local authorities as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

To protect the safety of our patients, staff, and the community that we serve, all routine exams will be rescheduled. Our office will continue to see urgent and emergent problems. We are also able to provide telemedicine services through technology-based audio and visual platforms including FaceTime and Skype, when appropriate.

Please call the office if you have questions, concerns, or believe you need to be seen. You may also call to request medication refills and order contact lenses.

Drivers and family members of patients will be asked to remain outside of the office unless absolutely necessary.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and keep you updated regarding new changes to our policies regarding patient appointments. We look forward to assisting our community during this unprecedented time. Please practice social distancing and remain healthy!
